Sonny's Italia was opened in 2000 and has been a success story ever since. It is Tynemouth's premier Italian Restaurant.

Sonny's Italia is situated on Front Street and is a little slice of real Italy. It attracts all categories of customer whether it be business, pleasure, family or party dining. The restaurant is based in the heart of a bustling pretty coastal market village, Tynemouth, which is soaked in its own history with many natural award winning tourist attractions. Tynemouth has always had a fantastic atmosphere, brought to life by the freshness of the sea.

Dishes range from Pizza, pasta (classical and modern) to sea food, fish, steak, chicken and local game.

Full a la carte is available, with all puddings and desserts from our own kitchen, alongside themed set menus exploring regional cuisine from Italy and the Mediterranean.

There are a range of fresh pasta and pizza dishes for happy hour available in the early evening from 17:00 to 19:00 and Saturday lunchtime.

Sunday has a happy hour too, all day, along with a succulent Carved Sunday Roast with all the trimmings.

There is something for everyone, even the smallest member of the family: Food in Italy is all about family, having fun, and being together, and that's what you'll find at Sonny's Italia, good honest value for money Italian food.

The restaurant is available for private functions i.e. weddings, christenings, any family occasion or social gathering etc, etc with special themed menus available for up to 100 guests.
